The NL Tampa Bay Rays?

There are reports that the Tampa Bay Rays are sending out signals that they would be willing to move into the National League if MLB has a major re-alignment as has been proposed. Not sure moving to the NL will help Tampa Bay with their largest worry [attendence]. The Boston Red Sox' and NY Yankees' fans always help to sell-out "the Trop" whenever they are in town. I don't think Atlanta Braves or Washington Nationals Fans would be willing [or able] to put up the same numbers for them. Also, TB has been competing pretty well within the perpetual hot-stove that IS the AL East. They have won 2 of the last 3 AL East Division Titles. Not sure they would faire as well against the Phillies in a Pitching and smallball contest that is NL Baseball.

Red Sox BIG BATS have been killing them!

The Boston Red Sox put a ten-spot on the SD Padres in the 7th inning last night. The score had been tied at 3-3 but went to 13-3 after that big inning. The BoSox have put up 10 runs or more in 5 out of their last 9 games. They are 14-2 since June 3rd. It appears their opening of the season 'swoon' has passed!

And all was right with the World [of MLB!]

It's June, and things seem to have settled down [at least in the AL]. The Red Sox are in first [as they should be!] with the Yankees and Rays right on their heels. The Cleveland Indians no longer have the best record in Baseball and are tied with Detroit going into their series. The Phillies are in first and have an excellent record.
